MIROSLAV ŠKORO AUSTRALIA TOUR 2013
To celebrate 30 years of the Hrvatski Vjesnik (The Croatian Herald) Miroslav Škoro will feature at two spectacular Concerts to be held in Melbourne and Sydney.
Highly acclaimed singer and songwriter Miroslav Škoro will make his long awaited concert debut Australia. Škoro and his entire band will perform two concerts to celebrate 30 years of the Australia’s Croatian community newspaper Hrvatski Vjesnik (The Croatian Herald).
Both concerts will be held in the April 2013 with the first concert to take place on the 18th of April at the Sydney Olympic Sports Centre located in Olympic Park with the second concert to be held in Melbourne on the 19th of April at the iconic Palais theatre in St.Kilda.
Miroslav Škoro is a Croatian musician. He first emerged onto the Croatian music scene with his debut ‘Ne dirajte mi ravnicu.''Ne dirajte mi ravnicu’ would go on to be one of the most famous Croatian songs ever and the song hit a chord with all Croatians at home and abroad as they all saw the images of Croatia struggling for its right to freedom.
Škoro’s music is characterized by its traditional tamburica sound, updated to appeal to a contemporary pop audience. In 2002 Škoro had a collaboration with Marko Perković Thompson on the song Reci, brate moj (“Tell me, my brother”).
The release of the Albums “Milo Moje” and “Svetinja” would cement him as one of the most popular Croatian singers of all time and songs like “Sude mi”, “Milo moje” and “Svetinja” would make him a legend of the Croatian music scene. His popularity shows no sign of abating as he continues to perform before packed arenas and venues all over Croatia, Europe and North America… Australia now it’s your turn !
