Acerca de Sunny Cowgirls

As one of the most requested country music acts in Australia, THE SUNNY COWGIRLS are riding high on the success of their latest released album SUMMER which has remained top of the charts and awarded them with sell out shows across Australia.

It's not just an album title to THE SUNNY COWGIRLS, the two sisters Sophie and Celeste Clabburn see it more as a tribute to the season they love most. As such, after a brief hiatus hibernating from the winter chill, the duo will hit the road once again taking their SUMMER show on the road.

Having first been discovered by ‘Dancing with the Stars' winner ADAM BRAND at the Country Music Association of Australia's highly respected College of Country Music in 2005, the accomplished singing and song writing duo has continued to take the country music scene by storm with SUMMER being their fourth album release.

Blonde, confident and charming with a great story to tell, THE SUNNY COWGIRLS deliver their shows with gusto, laughs and plenty of fun for those in the audience and those onstage too. Their infectious energy whilst performing has seen them grow into headline acts for major festivals and events.

Golden Guitar nominations, a legion of adoring fans and still many songs to write, THE SUNNY COWGIRLS are no doubt one of the most intriguing and true to themselves acts in Australia. Modest yet cheeky, the two whom often finish each other's sentences are at ease amongst their idols, peers and their fans with a no bull attitude that has only enhanced their
popularity.

"We're a bit different - we're a mixture of the traditional, of country rock, comedy and loud drinking songs", said Sophie. This is to be expected from a couple of girls who came through adolescence listening to Slim Dusty and John Williamson coupled with Nirvana and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

They have toured extensively with ADAM BRAND, shared the stage with LEE KERNAGHAN and can count on the like of JOHN WILLIAMSON and SARA STORER to freely admit they are fans... there is no question of THE SUNNY COWGIRLS future in Australian country music.
